Electrofusion fittings are specifically designed and developed using a vector structure system, which offers many powerful functions. Among these are load-bearing capability, flexible bending, electric heating for fusion protection, and precise socket positioning. They are suitable for connecting PE-RT and PE piping systems.
Electrofusion fittings are designed to effectively reduce water pressure while accommodating the thermal expansion and contraction that occur with temperature changes. These fittings provide a unique flexural structure that naturally absorbs the axial displacement caused by the pipe's expansion and contraction. This design allows for axial displacement space, along with providing load-bearing capabilities, variable deflection, and self-stress features. As a result, electrofusion fittings enhance the pressure-bearing capacity of the piping system.
(1) Electrofusion fittings use pure copper wire as the heat source, with a diameter of 0.6mm-0.8mm. dn63-90 adopts 0.6mm copper wire, and dn110-250 adopts 0.8mm copper wire. As pure copper wire has the advantages of high-temperature resistance, stable resistance, stable heat generation, ageing and oxidation resistance, and no corrosion, the heat generation of fittings of the same specification is consistent in the process of electrothermal fusion, and the quality of electrothermal fusion is stable. And there will be no circuit breakers.
(2) Electrofusion fittings on the outside of the mutually symmetrical check port, check port hole into the fittings inside, and the distance between the inner hole in the depth of 3mm ± 0.1mm. The working principle of the inspection port is in the electrofusion heating process fittings and pipe surface thermal expansion, when the PE-RT material plasticising temperature, and the plasticising depth of 3mm, check the softening of the plastic inside the mouth, with the plasticising depth and connecting parts of the increasing pressure, will slowly extend from the inner hole, when the pipe and the fittings of the plasticising depth of 6-7mm of the height of the design, (through experiments to prove that the plasticising depth of the fittings and the pipe) When the plasticising depth of pipe fittings and pipe fittings reaches 6-7mm, (it has been proved through experiments that when the plasticising depth of pipe fittings and pipe fittings reaches 6-7mm, the adhesive bonding is closer, and the peeling and tensile strength is higher after complete cooling), the third section of electrofusion is reached, i.e., the stage of heat preservation, and the checking port will automatically stop elongating until it stops and the process is completed. In the whole process of electrofusion check port for the judgement of the effect of heat fusion provides a visual basis.
(3) Electrofusion fittings at both ends of the copper wire and the mouth of the cooling zone of 10-20mm, with an increase in the nominal outer diameter of the electrofusion fittings and an increase in the distance. The role of the cooling zone is in the entire heating process, the cooling zone is always maintained at a temperature of 30-50 degrees, and there will be no softening, like a plug, to prevent the plasticised plastic in the melting zone of the port, all the plastic will not be lost, and to maintain the fittings connected to a certain degree of pressure, so as to make the connection parts more tight. This is why a slight raised deformation can be seen in the inner hole of the pipe after the electrofusion connection.
(4) The electrofusion welding machine adopts fully automatic temperature sensor control, which can automatically adjust the current and heat fusion time according to the ambient temperature. When the temperature changes more than 5 degrees, the parameters are automatically adjusted, ranging from 0-5 °, 6-10 °, 11-15 °, 16-20 °, 21-25 °, 26-30 °, 31-35 °, 36-40 °, 41-45 ° a total of nine temperature bands, in the hot or cold environment heat fusion effect is consistent.
